# A/B Testing Banners

You can use the same approach to testing banners as you would any other type of ad. Below are some test ideas to get started.

- Background color
- CTA color
- CTA button or no CTA button
- Days of the week, months, or quarters
- Amount of copy displayed on banner (1-3 words, 4-8 words, 9-12 words)
- Photography, illustrations, or any other design elements

To A/B test a banner, duplicate a banner campaign, update the name (so you can distinguish between banners), and swap any creative you want to test. To do this, go to Campaigns, navigate to a banner, click on the ellipses to the right of it (1), then click on Clone (2).
