# BambooHR Field Mapping

To enable field mapping between BambooHR and Opensense, you’ll first need to authorize access by generating and adding your BambooHR API key to Opensense. Once authorized, Opensense can pull user data for email signature management.

After the API key is securely added, you’ll be able to map specific BambooHR fields (e.g., job title, department, location) to Opensense user attributes, ensuring consistent and dynamic signature personalization across your organization.

### How to Authorize BambooHR

- Add a new key

Label this key "Opensense" and click on "Generate Key"

Once the key is generated click "COPY KEY" and send it over to your Opensense rep. along with your BambooHR URL

1. Once the key has been added to Opensense, you’ll be able to sync your directory directly from the **Users** section in the Opensense portal.

**To start the sync:**
  1. Log in to the Opensense Portal.
  2. In the left-hand navigation, click **Manage**, then select **Users**.
  3. Click **Actions** in the top-right corner and choose **Run Sync**.
  4. Select **BambooHR** as the source, then click **Start Sync**.
