# Displaying Sender or Recipient Email (NEW! Liquid Templates)

This is our current template syntax **as of 2022**. If you are not familiar with/used to this format, please check out our legacy template article [Displaying Sender or Recipient Email](https://opensense.document360.io/docs/displaying-sender-or-recipient-email-pre-2022-legacy)

Auto-populate the sender and recipient's email addresses on the signature with {{sgesender}} and {{sgrecipient}} **Common Uses:**

- Disclaimers
- Email field in the signature template

To do this, you **only** need to replace the email field/value with {{sgsender}} and {{sgrecipient}} in the HTML. **Do not** add this as a field under Settings & Fields on the Signature Template
