# Field Data Priority

Which data is populating your signature template? It is important to be aware of the field data priority, and how it appears on the transformed signature**Data will be pulled from the signature template in this order**:

1. Locked fields in Compliance
2. The signature block
3. Unlocked fields in Compliance

## Example

### Which data will populate her signature? (This account is not using department fields)

- **Name**: Will pull from her signature block because it is unlocked in "Compliance" **(Priority 2)**
- **Title**: Will pull from "Compliance" because it is locked **(Priority 1)**
- **Email**: Will pull from "Compliance" because it is blank in her signature block **(Priority 3)**
