# FTP Data Sync Technical Specs

Company email signatures require a source for the data that goes into the email signature for each sender. If you are using a directory source that Opensense does not natively integrate with, we can still sync your employee signatures field data from any data source with the use of a **File Transfer Protocol (FTP)**. We can connect to your FTP server, or you can use ours! Regardless, blow are the file requirements to mitigate issues with employee data synced via FTP:

1. CSV file in UTF-8 format
2. Lowercase column headers that match the merge fields in your email signature
  - Examples:
    - name
    - title
    - phone
    - mobile
    - email
3. Lowercase email addresses column
4. Comma-delimited
