The Okta and Opensense SAML integration currently supports these features: - SP-initiated SSO - IdP-initiated SSO :::note[Opensense support sets up SAML] Turning on SAML needs help from your Opensense support team. Email [help@opensense.com](mailto:help@opensense.com), or contact your account manager. ::: ## Configuration steps 1. In Okta, select the **Sign On** tab for the Opensense SAML app. Go to **Sign on methods** > **SAML 2.0** > **Metadata details**, and copy your **Metadata URL**. 2. Send the Metadata URL to the Opensense help desk or your account manager. 3. Opensense sets up your metadata, and coordinates testing with your team. ## Signing in with Okta Your users can sign in in either of two ways:
From Okta (IdP-initiated)
From the Okta applications panel.
From Opensense (SP-initiated)
Go to accounts.opensense.com, type your email address, select Next, and then select the Okta button.
