Displaying the sender or recipient email (Liquid templates)

Overview

This article uses the current Opensense template syntax, Liquid (as of 2022). If you’re used to the older format, see Displaying the sender or recipient email (legacy templates).

Fill in the sender’s and recipient’s email addresses in the signature automatically, with {{sgsender}} and {{sgrecipient}}. Common uses:

• Disclaimers
• The email field in the signature template

Adding the sender or recipient email

You only need to replace the email field or value with {{sgsender}} or {{sgrecipient}} in the HTML.

Don’t add it as a field

Don’t add sgsender or sgrecipient as a field under Settings & Fields on the signature template.
