The Opensense Outlook add-in is supported in Microsoft 365 environments using Exchange Online with Outlook clients that meet specific version and deployment requirements. This guide outlines the supported platforms and version prerequisites for deploying and using the add-in.
General Requirements
To use the Opensense Outlook add-in, all the following conditions must be met:
The mailbox must be hosted on Exchange Online (Microsoft 365).
The user must be licensed through Microsoft 365 or Office 365.
The Outlook client must support Centralized Deployment for add-ins.
The Outlook version must meet or exceed the minimum supported builds:
Windows: Version 2104 (Build 13929.20296) or later
macOS (New Outlook): Version 16.38.506 or later
The add-in requires Outlook clients that support Office JavaScript API v1.10 or later.

Supported Platforms
Windows
Classic Outlook for Windows (Microsoft 365 version 2104 or later)
New Outlook for Windows (Exchange Online only)
Outlook on the Web (OWA) in modern browsers
Note: Classic Outlook must be Click-to-Run and meet the version requirement listed above. MSI-based installations are not supported unless they meet version and API support criteria.
macOS
New Outlook for Mac, version 16.38.506 or later
Legacy (non-New) Outlook for Mac is not supported.
Mobile
Outlook for iOS, version 2.75.0 or later
Outlook for Android, version 2.2.145 or later
Must be connected to Exchange Online.
Web
Outlook on the Web (OWA) is fully supported through modern browsers when used with a Microsoft 365 mailbox.
Unsupported Environments
The following environments are not supported:
Outlook connected to on-premises Exchange
Outlook accounts using POP or IMAP
Perpetual Office licenses (e.g., Office 2016, 2019, 2021 not tied to Microsoft 365)
Legacy Outlook for Mac
MSI-based Office installs that do not meet the version or deployment requirements
Deployment Requirements
