Confirm that users meet all requirements before deploying or troubleshooting the add-in. > [!NOTE] > GCC High environments are supported. See [Opensense Add-in Integration with GCC High Environments](https://help.opensense.com/docs/opensense-add-in-integration-with-gcc-high-environments) for requirements and configuration details. ## General requirements All of the following conditions must be met to deploy and use the Opensense Outlook Add-in: - Mailbox hosted on **Exchange Online** (Microsoft 365). On-premises Exchange is not supported for add-in deployment. - User licensed through a supported **Microsoft 365 or Office 365** plan (see license requirements below). - Outlook client meets or exceeds the **minimum supported version** listed below. - Outlook client supports **Office JavaScript API v1.10** or later. Some features require v1.13, available on Microsoft 365 subscriptions only. - Subscription directory is in or federated to **Microsoft Entra ID**. Not sure which version of Outlook you have? MSI-based installs are not supported. | | New Outlook for Windows | Windows 10 Version 1809 (Build 17763) or later | New Outlook updates continuously and has no minimum build requirement beyond the OS version. | | Outlook on the Web (OWA) | Any supported modern browser | Full add-in functionality supported. | ### Mac | Client | Minimum version | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | | New Outlook for Mac | Version 16.38.506 or later | New Outlook interface required. Legacy Outlook for Mac is not supported. | To enable the New Outlook interface on Mac: open Outlook, then go to **Outlook menu > New Outlook** and confirm the toggle is on. ### Mobile | Platform | Minimum version | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | | Outlook for iOS | Version 2.75.0 or later | Must be connected to Exchange Online. See [How To Access the Opensense Outlook Add-in on Android](https://help.opensense.com/docs/how-to-access-opensense-outlook-add-in-on-android). | ## Unsupported environments - On-premises Exchange (the add-in is not supported, but Opensense supports on-premises Exchange via ExSBR by MessageConcepts, contact [help@opensense.com](mailto:help@opensense.com) for details) - POP and IMAP accounts - Volume-licensed Office (Office 2016, 2019, 2021 LTSC, these do not support the required API version) - Legacy Outlook for Mac - MSI-based Office installs - GoDaddy-managed Microsoft 365 accounts - Office 365 E1 and E2 plans ## License requirements Users must have one of the following supported Microsoft 365 or Office 365 licenses. The add-in is deployed through Microsoft AppSource via Integrated Apps, and not all plans include AppSource access. | License | Supported | | --- | --- | | Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard, Premium | Yes | | Office 365 / Microsoft 365 Enterprise E3, E5, F3 | Yes | | Office 365 / Microsoft 365 Education A1, A3, A5 | Yes | | Office 365 / Microsoft 365 Government G3, G5 | Yes | | Office 365 E1 | No | | Office 365 E2 | No | | Microsoft 365 Apps for Business or Enterprise (no Exchange Online) | No | | GoDaddy-managed Microsoft 365 | No | If you are unsure whether your plan qualifies, see [Microsoft's Centralized Deployment requirements guide](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/manage/centralized-deployment-of-add-ins?view=o365-worldwide), which includes a compatibility checker tool. ## Deployment requirements The add-in is deployed via Microsoft 365 Integrated Apps using Centralized Deployment. Centralized Deployment is supported in most Microsoft 365 tenants. Microsoft provides a [compatibility checker](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/manage/centralized-deployment-of-add-ins?view=o365-worldwide#centralized-deployment-compatibility-checker) if you are unsure whether your organization qualifies. - Nested groups are not supported for add-in scoping.
