How to Send a #debug Email?

Background

If you're experiencing an issue with your signatures, you can send a new email with #debug 12345 (replace 12345 with any 5 random digits) in the subject line. This generates a unique identifier and provides us with detailed diagnostic information to help troubleshoot your issue.

Please note: Do not forward an existing email. You must compose a new email and include #debug followed by 5 random digits in the subject line.

When to Use #debug

Here are some of the most common examples of when our Customers use #debug. Don't hesitate to reach out to help@opensense.com with any issues you are experiencing.

  • Any signature placement issues while composing emails

  • Users do not see their signature at all

  • Users are seeing an incorrect signature being displayed

  • Experiencing formatting issues with your signatures

How to Submit the #debug Email

When reaching out to support, please provide the following information so we can better assist you, and quickly resolve the issue:

  • Is the issue happening on new emails, replies or forwards?

  • Which email client, and what device was the email sent from?

  • Please provide a list of users who are being impacted, and a date/time of the reporting issue.

Once you identify where and how the issues occur, send a NEW email to help@opensense.com with #debug followed by 5 random digits in the subject line.
