If you're experiencing issues with your email signatures, sending a #debug email helps Opensense support quickly diagnose and resolve the problem. This guide explains when and how to use the #debug feature for faster troubleshooting.
What is a #debug Email?
A #debug email is a diagnostic tool that triggers a flag in our backend system for advanced troubleshooting. When you send an email with #debug
followed by 5 random digits in the subject line (for example, #debug 12345
), it creates a unique identifier that alerts our engineering team and provides them with detailed technical information to trace and resolve your specific issue.
Important: You must compose a new email—do not forward an existing email. The #debug code only works when included in a newly composed message.
When to Use #debug
Send a #debug email when you encounter any of the following signature issues:
Missing signatures - Users don't see their signature at all
Incorrect signatures - The wrong signature is being displayed
Placement problems - Signatures appear in the wrong location while composing emails
Formatting issues - Signature elements are misaligned, distorted, or displaying incorrectly

Send the email
Step 3: Wait for Support Response
