# HTML and field types (Liquid templates)

## Overview

These articles explain the fields and template logic you can use in Liquid templates. Opensense has used Liquid templates since 2022. If your template uses tags in `$tag;` format, use [HTML and field types (legacy templates)](https://help.opensense.com/docs/html-field-types-1) instead.
