The Performance Dashboard in Opensense provides comprehensive insights into your ad banner marketing campaigns, enabling data-driven Banner Management to enhance your marketing strategies.

Introduction

On the dashboard, by default, you will see the analytics for all of your Campaigns (sorted by Reach) within the last 60 days. You are able to sort by any of the analytics on the dashboard by clicking their header. The analytics on the dashboard include:

Deliveries

The total number of times a campaign was successfully delivered to its audience.

Impressions

The total number of views your creative received across all the campaigns in the selected time range.

Clicks

The total number of clicks your creatives received across all the campaigns in the selected time range.

Click-through Rate (CTR)

The percentage of clicks received to the total numbers of emails viewed.

Click-to-Recipient Rate (CTRR)

Measures the percentage of unique recipients who clicked on a banner, showing how effectively the campaign engages its audience.

Reach

The total number of unique recipients reached across all campaigns in the selected time range.

Status

Displays the status of the campaign.

đŸ’¡ Need Data for Specific Days?

You can also hover your mouse over the graphs next to Deliveries, Impressions, and Clicks to view Performance data for specific days within your selected time period.

Using the Performance Dashboard

Performance Data

Performance data can be filtered by each Creative type. You can search for, and compare, specific Creatives by using the search bar, and toggling the dropdown menu to the right of the search bar. You'll be able to compare as many Creatives as you would like. These are the Creatives that are included in the Performance Dashboard:

Campaigns

This is a search bar where you can search for a specific campaign.

Tags

Tags are user-generated, and you are able to create as many as you want. These are generally used as a way to associate many campaigns together. An example could be using the tag "holidayDelays". You can apply this tag to any Campaign that could relate to a team's slow response time during a holiday.

Categories

Opensense currently provides 7 preset Categories based on email type and industry. These are usually chosen to match the Campaign's objectives.

After selecting the Creatives you are comparing, you will see the display transform. You'll be able to change how the data is aggregated (Days vs. Months), and/or switch the chart display between Line and Bar Graphs. You can also filter the performance data by a specific time period. There are preset time periods, or you can select a custom date range of your own.

đŸ’¡ A/B Testing

Comparing Creatives is especially helpful when A/B testing ad banners, whether it be to determine a design element that converts better or content that resonates more.

Campaign Metrics

Opensense provides detailed analytics to help you measure the performance of your banner ad campaigns. When you want to see more in-depth metrics and insights for a specific campaign, you can click the arrow to the left of the banner.

đŸ’¡ Need to Edit a Banner?

If you need to edit a Banner you can click on the Banner image, or the vertical ellipsis (three dots) to the right of the banner and click Edit. You will be taken to the Campaign editor.

History

The History tab, by default, displays a list of everyone who has clicked on an ad banner (in the last 30 days) along with some other details. These user details are:

Email

Date the Ad Banner was Clicked

Time the Ad Banner was Clicked

User Location

User IP Address

User Device Type

Browser

You are able to configure how this data is displayed by changing the time period, or grouping the contacts.

Contacts can be grouped in 2 ways. Contacts can be grouped by recipient, or domain. Using these groupings can make it easier to understand what (and how) buyers, influencers, and customers are engaging with your content. It also possible to filter by a specific recipient by hovering over their contact, and clicking the Filter icon.

đŸ’¡ Pro-Tip:

Upload this list of Contacts to your CRM and tie it back to your Email Ad Banner Marketing Campaigns to retarget particular lists. See Exporting Click Data to learn how to do this.

Engagement

The Engagement tab, by default, displays each Contact's engagement replays on the content you linked your banner ad to (in the last 30 days). Engagement replays display the amount of time a Contact was on a page, and any other pages they proceeded to go to after viewing your original content.

You are able to group the Contacts by Domain, and/or filter the data to a specific recipient by hovering over their contact, and clicking the Filter icon.
