Query Salesforce Data for Personalized Email Signatures with Opensense
Overview
Opensense can query your Salesforce data to personalize company email signatures based on Contact, Account, and Lead objects. The way the field is displayed in Salesforce isn't always what is needed to query it. Salesforce uses what's called Field API names that can be queried by other apps such as Opensense.
Log in to Salesforce
Navigate to your Salesforce login page and log in with your credentials.
Navigate to Object Manager
Setup: Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select Setup.
Object Manager: In the Setup menu, find Object Manager in the top menu bar and click on it.
Access Contact Object
Search for Contact: In the Object Manager, type Contact in the Quick Find box.
Select Contact: Click on the Contact object from the list.
View Fields and Relationships
Fields & Relationships: On the Contact object management page, click on Fields & Relationships in the left-hand sidebar.
View Fields: Here, you can see all the fields associated with the Contact object. You can view details such as field names, API names, data types, and descriptions.
Configure in Opensense
Once you find the fields you want to use, provide them to your Opensense Customer Success Account Manager (CSAM).
