Overview
The Opensense portal includes four roles that control what a user can access and manage. This article describes what each role can do and which pages they can reach.
Roles at a glance
Domain Admin
Full access to the entire portal, including all signature, marketing, and domain configuration.
Assign this role to users responsible for managing the Opensense environment at the organization level.
Signature Admin
Access to Signature and Business Card pages, plus most of the Manage section. Domain Settings is not accessible.
Assign this role to users who own signature design, deployment, and routing but do not need to modify domain-level configuration.
Marketing Admin
Access to Marketing pages, plus most of the Manage section. Domain Settings is not accessible.
Assign this role to users who manage campaigns, performance tracking, and targeting.
Known issue: Marketing Admins can see the Users list under Manage but cannot load individual user profiles. The Groups page also does not display any existing groups. These are known bugs. For group and user management, use a Domain Admin or Signature Admin account.
User
Standard access with no administrative permissions. Users with Sales Tracking enabled can view the Sales Activity feed under Insights.
