What is the Opensense signature block?
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Opensense email signatures are designed to be dynamic, consistent, and platform-aware. Whether you use Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) or Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Opensense uses special tokens to decide how and when your email signature is inserted. These tokens act as containers for fields, such as name, title, and phone number, that are filled in automatically from each user’s profile and the selected template.
Tokens and fields
Section titled “Tokens and fields”The patented Opensense plain-text block is enclosed in tokens that identify the platform:
- Google Workspace

The tokens wrap the fields: dynamic placeholders that are filled in with the correct values when an email is sent. A typical signature block might include fields like these:
Saving your signature block where you send email
Section titled “Saving your signature block where you send email”Any application that routes email through your corporate mail server transforms the signature block. This includes an endless list of applications, such as:
- Gmail
- Apple Mail
- Salesforce
- HubSpot
- Mobile phone apps
Copy your signature block, paste it into each application’s signature settings, save it, and use the application as usual.
